Kevin Durant will most likely return to the Oklahoma City Thunder, a longtime friend of the NBA star told The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears.

“His decision is 90 percent made. It would take an amazing sales pitch to change it,” the friend told Spears.

Other individuals associated with Durant also told Spears that the Oklahoma City star is unlikely to leave the Thunder.

Durant, a four-time scoring champion and former MVP, is the most sought-after free agent on the market this off-season. The 27-year-old already has meetings scheduled with six teams—the Heat, Celtics, Warriors, Clippers, Spurs and Thunder.

Oklahoma City selected Durant with the No. 2 pick of the 2007 draft. Over his career, Durant has averaged 27.4 points, 3.7 assists and 7 rebounds per game.

The NBA free agency negotiation period begins July 1.
