Kelly Oubre Could Return to 76ers Sooner Than Expected, per Wojnarowski

76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. originally was expected to miss “significant time” after being struck by a car on Saturday in City Center, Philadelphia, but now a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski states that he could return to the NBA court much quicker.

Oubre sustained a broken rib and an assortment of bruises and cuts from the incident. He’s already returned to the Sixers’ facility to do some “light work” this week, Wojnarowski reported.

“I’m told that realistic expectation that he could be back in two-plus weeks, perhaps the end of November, the beginning of December,” the ESPN analyst told NBA Today’s Malika Andrews on Wednesday.

Oubre was signed by the 76ers this offseason after playing the last two seasons with the Hornets. He’s played in eight games so far this season with Philadelphia, averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He's currently making 37.8% of his attempts from three-point range, which is a career best for Oubre.
