Eagles cornerback Jaylen Watkins sidelined with hamstring injury

Philadelphia Eagles rookie cornerback Jaylen Watkins missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury, according to multiplereports.

According to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly, Watkins did some "light running" on the sideline while his teammates were warming up.

Watkins, who was the Eagles' fourth-round pick​, missed time earlier in training camp with a hamstring injury.

Wednesday's practice was the first time this week that the Eagles practiced in pads.

Wide receiver Josh Huff and offensive lineman Matt Tobin also sat out of practice.

The Eagles open the season at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
