Bears sign rookie safety Ahmad Dixon
Garza is in his tenth season with the Bears. He started 133 of Chicago's 144 games over the previous nine seasons.
The Bears signed former Saints center Brian de la Puente in free agency to back up Garza. He injured his knee in training camp, but was available to replace Garza on Sunday.
