Both wide receiver Sammy Watkins and running back Fred Jackson are active for the Buffalo Bills against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Bills announced

Watkins and Jackson were questionable for the game due to groin injuries.

Watkins, a rookie, did not participate in practice on Thursday or Friday after leaving Wednesday's practice with the injury. He later said he's been bothered by it for two weeks, and said Friday that he was "clueless" about his status against the Chiefs.

Jackson was limited in practice all week after originally sustaining the injury on Oct. 19. On Friday, head coach Doug Marrone said the running back currently was not ready to play.

Watkins has 38 receptions for 590 yards and five touchdowns through eight games this season, while Jackson has 239 yards and one touchdown on 55 carries.

Buffalo (5-3) hosts Kansas City (5-3) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
