Knighton addressed Ware's claim on Friday. "It actually is a fact: I'm the best nose tackle in the league," Knightonsaid on ESPN 980. "The Redskins got me for a bargain, but I'm going to prove myself, prove my worth in this league."

Knighton, 28, recorded 33 total tackles and two sacks in 2014. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being selected in the third round of the 2009 draft. The Redskins also signed defensive tackle Stephen Paea this week.
