The Buffalo Bills signed fullback John Conner, the team announced Wednesday.

Conner visited Buffalo Tuesday and the two sides eventually came to an agreement.

Conner's signing once again reunites the six-year veteran with head coach Rex Ryan. Conner began his career in 2010 with the New York Jets, then under the direction of Ryan. He stayed with the team until they elected not to re-sign him following the 2012 season.

After stops with the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants, Conner returned to the Jets for the 2014 season.

Over six seasons, Conner has rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns while catching 12 passes for 84 yards and one touchdown. He appeared in 12 games last year for the Jets.

Following the season, Ryan was fired by the Jets and  quickly scooped up by the AFC East rival Bills.

The Bills finished 9-7, one game short of making the playoffs.
