Uribe, 34, hit .278 with 12 home runs and 50 RBIs in 132 games last season after injuries limited him to a .191 average with two homers and 17 RBIs in 2012. He's also known as a strong fielder.

Uribe hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning of Game 4 of the NLDS against the Braves to send the Dodgers to their first NLCS since 2009.
