Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell will return to school for his junior season, he announced on his Twitter page on Monday.

The 6-foot-8, 235-pound big man averaged 14.0 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game for the Cardinals (31-6), who lost to Kentucky in the Sweet 16.

The 20-year-old out of Tarboro, N.C., shot 60.9 percent from the field last season, but he struggled at the free-throw line, where he shot only 46.4 percent. He also had 12 double-doubles in 37 games last season, including 22 points and 11 rebounds over eventual NCAA champion UConn in the AAC tournament final.
