Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez scratched from Saturday's game with sore left calf
Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez was taken out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park with a sore left calf, according to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times.
The injury is not believed to be serious and Ramirez is day-to-day.
Erisbel Arruebarrena, who made his big league debut filling in for Ramirez on a routine day off Friday night, started at shortstop and hit eighth.
Ramirez, 30, is hitting .250 with seven homers and 24 RBIs in 48 games this season. The three-time All-Star played only 86 games last season but hit .345 with 20 homers, 57 RBIs and a 1.040 OPS, and was eighth in NL MVP voting.
