Jameis Winston's slip and fumble that led to a touchdown for Oregon was the most-talked about moment from the Rose Bowl on Twitter, data shows.

The fumble sparked instant reaction on Twitter and a slew of Internet memes

Winston was the most-mentioned Florida State player on Twitter during the game, followed by Dalvin Cook and Karlos Williams Sr. The most-mentioned Oregon players were Marcus MariotaDarren Carrington and Charles Nelson.

In the Sugar Bowl, the most-talked about moment on Twitter was the end of the game, when Ohio State safety Tyvis Powell intercepted Alabama quarterback Blake Simms’ Hail Mary attempt. The next most-talked about moment was an 85-yard touchdown run by Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Cardale Jones was the most-mentioned OSU player, followed by Elliott and Devin Smith. For Alabama, the most-mentioned players were Derrick Henry, Amari Cooper and Sims.

There were 2.4 million tweets sent related to the Rose Bowl on Thursday, and 2.3 million related to the Sugar Bowl.
