Cardale Jones mocks everyone calling him a 'third-string quarterback'

Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones has drawn attention for his social media presence before, and he's back at it again.

After leading the Buckeyes to a victory over No. 1 Alabama, Jones poked a little fun at the idea he's a third-string quarterback.

THAMEL: The story of Ohio State QB Cardale Jones

Sure, Jones is Urban Meyer's third choice at quarterback, but injuries to Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett have thrust the sophomore into the spotlight.

Jones' spot on the depth chart also lends itself to clever headlines, like the one The New York Times ran: "A No. 3 Quarterback Topples No. 1 Alabama."

But Jones is the No. 1 quarterback now, and he's leading the No. 4 Buckeyes against No. 2 Oregon in the national championship game.
