Watch: Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall's traffic stop

Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall was cited for marijuana possession after being pulled over in Reynolds, Ga., last week. Here is video of Marshall being pulled over and his car searched. From the Montgomery Advertiser: 

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn has yet to reveal how Marshall will be disciplined. Speaking at SEC Media days in Hoover, Ala., Monday, Malzahn said (per AL.com):

"Up until last Friday, Nick has been a model student, a model teammate, a model citizen, but he made a mistake, and he's going to have to suffer the consequences for that mistake," Malzahn said. "I'm not saying what that consequence is right now, but it will be addressed."

In his first year as Auburn's starting quarterback, Marshall led the Tigers to the BCS National Championship game, where they lost to Florida State. Marshall threw for 1,976 yards with a 59.4 completion percentage and 14 TDs. He also ran for 1,068 yards and 12 scores.

Marshall began his college career as a defensive back at the University of Georgia, but he was dismissed from the team for stealing from a teammate. From there, he went to Garden City Community College where he switched positions to quarterback. After a season at Garden City, Marshall transferred to Auburn.
