Urban Meyer and Ohio State were unable to keep one of the top recruits in Ohio home. Four-star linebacker and class of 2015 recruit Jerome Baker spurned the Buckeyes and verbally committed to the Florida Gators on Friday morning on a Bleacher Report video.

Baker is a consensus four-star recruit and is ranked second in the state of Ohio by 24/7, Rivals, Scout and ESPN. He's ranked from 36th to 68th nationally, from each of those services.

Baker is the 10th commitment of the Gators' 2015 class and is the most highly-touted prospect yet.

Baker is listed as both a linebacker and athlete on various recruiting services, and there are some questions as to whether he'll play linebacker or running back in college, similar to Miles Jack at UCLA. In the Bleacher Report video, Baker said he will play linebacker at Florida, but that he'll "play anywhere" if asked.
