Mississippi State's Dan Mullen disagrees with Dillon Day's suspension
Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen said he disagrees with the SEC's decision to suspend center Dillon Day for stomping two LSU players during last week's game, The Commercial Dispatch reports.
The conference announced Day's one-game suspension on Tuesday, saying it was for "multiple flagrant and unsportsmanlike acts during the game, as well as previous disciplinary action for similar behavior." Day was suspended by the team for stomping an Auburn player in 2013.

Mullen said he doesn't think his center deserves a suspension.
Asked his opinion of Day's conduct, Mullen said "I didn't see anything wrong with it."
And when the subject changed to Day's eventual suspension, Mullen added, "We completely disagree with the ruling that was given to us by the league, but we are going to follow the commissioner's decision."
On Monday, Day released a statement denying he intentionally tried to hurt the LSU players.
Day will miss Mississippi State's game against Texas A&M on Oct. 4.
