CINCINNATI — Wes Miller and the Bearcats are staying very active in the transfer portal as UC aims to end their three-year streak of missing the NCAA Tournament. Five more transfers are on Cincinnati's radar, including Iowa's Joe Toussaint.

The junior guard is on the move after averaging 4.3 points and 3.2 assists this past season. the 6-foot guard doesn't bring much in terms of scoring but he did finish top-12 among Big Ten players in assists (114, 12th) and steals (51, second) in 2021-22. Toussaint is hearing from schools like Ohio, Xavier, and St. Johns.

Moving down the line, we have Gardner-Webb guard Lance Terry. The junior averaged 14.3 points and 3.4 rebounds last season and was one of the most efficient scorers in the Big South.

Terry finished with the ninth-best true shooting rate in the conference (57.5%) and had the fourth-best effective field goal rate (54.5%). He also added 32 steals, which ranked 17th in the conference. The 6-foot-2 guard is hearing from schools like Georgia, Oklahoma, and Xavier.

Next on the list is George Washington freshman guard Brayon Freeman. GW is going through a coaching change prompting Freeman to explore his options after posting 10.3 points per game and 3.7 assists in his debut campaign.

He cracked the A-10 All-Freshman team and was one of the best facilitators in the league. Freeman finished the season with the 11th-most assists among all A-10 players. Tack on 1.3 steals per game (15th in A-10), and you get a complete guard at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Freeman is talking to schools like Xavier, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt.

A player Cincinnati knows well is also on their radar. Temple guard Jeremiah Williams could be a Bearcat this season. The sophomore posted 9.5 points per game and 4.5 assists this past season.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound guard would fit into the AAC seamlessly and is one of the most versatile guards available. Williams finished top-15 among all AAC players in steals per game (1.4, 15th), assists per game (4.5, fifth), and offensive rating (103.7, 15th). He is in contact with schools like Xavier, Illinois, and Vanderbilt.

Last but not least is another big guard Cincinnati is eyeing on his way out of Kansas State in Selton Miguel. The 6-foot-4 sophomore averaged 7.2 points and four rebounds this past season. He started eight fewer games and saw his minutes drop from 27.5 as a freshman to 24.7 as a sophomore. He is talking to schools like BYU, Boston College, and Tulsa.
