Weekly NET: UC Stops Slide in Latest Rankings Check

The Bearcats went 1-1 last week with a win over SMU and a loss to Memphis.

CINCINNATI — After consecutive weeks falling down the NET rankings, Cincinnati is back inside the top-70. UC sits at No. 66 this week after slotting in at No. 75 last Monday.

The Bearcats went 1-1 over the past seven days with a 77-60 win over SMU and an 87-80 loss to Memphis. Cincinnati moved up to No. 4 among all AAC teams in the rankings.

Other AAC team spots include Houston moving up one spot to No. 3. UCF fell from 48 to 62; Memphis went up from No. 60 to No. 50; SMU moved down to No. 73 from No.71; While Wichita State rounded out the AAC teams inside the top-100 ranked No. 71 after being No. 77 last week.

Cincinnati is two games back of Houston for the top spot in the AAC, but they have a light stretch of the schedule on deck. UC plays one team ranked inside the NET top-75 the rest of the month (Wichita State).

February opens with back-to-back games against Memphis and Houston. The time is now for Wes Miller's crew to prove they are a top-tier team in the AAC.
