On This Date: Bearcats Hire Luke Fickell Five Years Ago Today
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats might've made the best decision in program history five years ago today.
They hired Ohio State defensive coordinator Luke Fickell to be their next head football coach.
Since then, the Bearcats have gone 48-14, which includes back-to-back undefeated regular seasons.
Cincinnati will play Alabama in the Cotton Bowl for a chance to play in the National Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 31 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
