Notre Dame is set to welcome Boston College to town this weekend. This marks Notre Dame’s final home game on the season, including its last big recruiting weekend of the year.

The Irish staff is set to welcome a large group of talented recruits from several classes this weekend. It promises to be a massive opportunity for Notre Dame to help solidify the 2023 recruiting class, and put in solid groundwork for future classes to come.

MISSING PIECE FOR THE 2023 CLASS

With only a few spots remaining in the 2023 recruiting class and a few weeks left before the December 21 signing day, this class will be finalized before you know it. This weekend will have several 2023 recruits on campus, including a very important one at the quarterback position.

The Notre Dame staff is ready for another important, and successful weekend.

All eyes will be on Henderson (Tenn.) Pope John Paul II quarterback Kenny Minchey this weekend. After decommitting from Pittsburgh earlier this week, there is a great opportunity for Notre Dame to close this one out with a successful visit this weekend.

The Irish staff still needs to knock this visit out of the park and solidify things for the Tennessee star. Quarterback recruiting was looking bleak just a couple weeks ago, but being able to close on Minchey would be massive for the program.

One part of Notre Dame recruiting that isn’t getting enough credit is the staff continues to attract talented recruits even as preferred walk-ons. They have quietly gotten commitments from several talented recruits who holds a bevy of offers from other notable programs.

Cody (Wy.) HS athlete Luke Talich is the perfect example of an extremely talented player that Notre Dame is going after as a preferred walk-on. The 6-3, 185-pound athlete brings some impressive film and has some interesting projection on the next level.

Coming out of Wyoming has obviously kept him somewhat under the radar but Talich does boast offers from Utah, Oregon State and Washington State among others. Despite that interest, Talich has heavy interest in Notre Dame and has even called them a dream school in the past.

He would be a massive pull for Notre Dame.

Here are the other 2023 recruits set to be on campus this weekend:

DL Derrick Miller - Cincinnati (Ohio) Woodward
DL Conway Zhang - Indianapolis (Ind.) Brebeuf Jesuit
DL Drew Allen - Louisville (Ky.) Trinity
LS Ben Cash - Kentwood (Mich.) East

2024 RECRUITS TO WATCH

Notre Dame will have a lot of talented 2024 recruits on campus for their matchup with Boston College. That includes several recruits that the staff is already incredibly high on. They hope to make substantial movements with several talented recruits.

Hannibal (Mo.) High School running back Aneyas Williams is one of the more notable targets to keep an eye on this weekend. The Missouri standout is a dynamic all-around weapon that provides a lot of possibilities on the next level.

Things have been trending incredibly well since Williams visited for the Clemson game a couple of weeks ago. Getting him back on campus this weekend is a great sign for the program. If the staff knocks it out of the park, this one could wrap up very soon.

Even though Ainsworth (Neb.) High School tight end Carter Nelson wasn’t able to make the trip to South Bend for the Clemson game due to a canceled airplane ride, it was still a notable weekend for Nelson. The Nebraska athlete was offered by the Irish staff and has said some very encouraging things about the program.

Getting Nelson on campus is a massive opportunity for Notre Dame. He is the type of dynamic mover that the Irish staff hopes to pair with tight end commit Jack Larsen.

Long Beach (Calif.) Poly wide receiver Jason Robinson is also set to make his trip to campus, which will be huge for the Notre Dame program. Robinson is currently committed to USC, but has been adamant that he is going to let the recruiting process play out.

Robinson is a dynamic wide receiver who brings a high level of route running and vertical speed. He is exactly what the program needs at the position moving forward.

Here are the other 2024 recruits set to be on campus this weekend:

QB Casey Joppie - Grand Rapids (Mich.) East Kentwood

2025 AND 2026 RECRUITS ON CAMPUS

There is a bevy of talented 2025, 2026 and even 2027 recruits set to be on campus. There are a few notable recruits that Notre Dame fans should get very familiar with.

Despite Tampa Bay (Fla.) Berkeley Prep 2025 athlete Dallas Golden is already one of the top recruits in the 2025 class with a massive upside. Notre Dame fans will recognize the school because of Keon Keeley but the talented 2023 defensive recruit isn’t the only talented player for the program.

Golden is the real deal, and can project favorably at several positions on the next level.

There is another recruit with a similar name set to be on campus this weekend. Cedar Lake (Ind.) Havover Central 2026 athlete Dylan Bowen, the younger brother of 2023 linebacker commit Drayk Bowen, will also be on campus. The younger Bowen is not only a talented football player, but is also a standout baseball player as well.

His development will be something worth keeping a close eye on.

IRISH COMMITS ON CAMPUS

It will be the last home game for Notre Dame, as well as the program’s last big recruiting weekend of the year. While the main focus will be on targets on campus, the Irish program will also be welcoming various Notre Dame commits this weekend.

That provides another big recruiting tool for the Irish program. Having players who have been there, done that, and believed in the vision of the Notre Dame staff is huge. Their presence alone will be a massive help.

You should expect Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean 2023 linebacker Drayk Bowen at every home game, and Bowen even makes the trip to some away games when he can. He will once again be there this weekend, helping the staff potentially close out the 2023 recruiting class and to even assist him with some of the 2024 and 2025 recruits that are scheduled to be on campus. Bowen is the leader of the 2023 class and has continued to make his presence felt each and every week.

The Notre Dame staff is also bringing in the other big gun with Saline (Mich.) HS 2024 quarterback CJ Carr. The Michigan star is no stranger to being on campus, and has continually been a fantastic recruiter already for the 2024 class. You will be sure to find Carr spending a lot of time with the other 2024 recruits on campus, as well as spending some time with Minchey. His presence is massive for the Irish program on senior day.

While there will be a few Notre Dame commits enjoying the weekend, it will be especially special for Woodberry Forest (Va.) HS 2023 defensive end Armel Mukam, who is making his first visit to campus. Notre Dame did an incredible job flipping Mukam from Stanford without even making the trip to South Bend. This will be his official visit to campus and it gives the team to really solidify for the Canada native that he made the right decision.

Here are the Notre Dame commits set to be on campus:

QB CJ Carr (2024) - Saline (Mich.) HS
OT Charles Jagusah - Rock Island (Ill.) Alleman
DE Armel Mukam - Woodberry Forest (Va.) HS
LB Drayk Bowen - Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean
CB Christian Gray - St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet Jesuit
