Caleb Williams Cuts List to Final Three in 'All on the Line' Blog

The No. 1 prep passer in the country, Caleb Williams blogs about cutting his list down to three programs.

Caleb Williams is the top quarterback prospect in the 2021 class with scholarship offers from elite programs coast to coast. He has agreed to give Sports Illustrated exclusive access into his world by chronicling everything from his experience as a high profile recruit to his home life and preparation for his senior season. This is 'All on the Line.'

Hey guys!

Back for another week of the blog, Caleb Williams: All on the Line. I hope everybody is healthy, safe, staying strong through this tough time and this pandemic.

You know who I am, I'm still working out, still staying strong and healthy. Working out as much as I can this week. I didn't get in the pool this week but I still worked out Monday and Tuesday with the coach I've been working out with when I'm in the pool, Coach Mark (McCain). We were still going hard, did a bunch of cardio to keep me in shape and all. I kind of missed the pool this week, it's always refreshing.

I threw this week, with an upcoming quarterback, Noah (Brannock). He goes to Calvert Hall. I've worked out with him a few times before this. He's a good guy, good quarterback on the come up.

I haven't been recruiting this week and I haven't been getting recruited like that even though I had a few calls with coaches. This week I have been just working out and focusing on school work because I have two weeks left of school, exactly. I need to make sure I'm doing fine in school and that my grades are up to par. Since we're in this pandemic I have more time on my hands to make sure everything is fine with school.

Getting to more of the spicy part of the blog...I know everybody has been wanting to hear it and read it. I'm definitely dropping my list to three schools.

I'm really thankful for all the relationships I've built with these other colleges. The ones I put out before the top five and the ones that were in the top five and are now not in it. I'm very grateful for the connection I've built with those coaches, who have been putting so much time into me. It means a lot.

But I feel like these are the best ones for me.

It's Maryland, Oklahoma and LSU.

I really feel like those schools are the best schools for me overall, not just for football. I really feel like those schools can provide me the best opportunity academically and with my football career with the connections I've built with the coaches, the fans and the connection my parents and everybody has built with the coaches. The feel with all of those places, it just feels right.

I really feel like those three can help propel me to the next level and help propel my game to the next level.

Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody. I hoped you liked the surprise!

More fireworks to come.

Signing off, Caleb Williams: All on the Line

Make sure you wash your hands and stay safe.
