UCLA Athletics hired Stephanie London Krogius for the role of Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Development Officer. She will lead the athletic department’s developmental team and focus on fundraising efforts.

UCLA will host the 17th annual Dribble Over Cancer event on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Drake Stadium. The UCLA men and women’s basketball programs will join participants in dribbling around Drake Stadium as a fundraiser for pediatric cancer research.

UCLA football secured their 17th hard commit on Wednesday. Three-star edge rusher Juju Walls announced his verbal commitment to UCLA football via X on Aug. 21. He will join fellow Pittsburgh High School teammate, Jadyn Hudson, as a UCLA hard commit.

The UCLA Athletics website announced on Tuesday that Mark Freeman and Lacy Dagen would complete the 2025 gymnastics coaching staff. Freeman and Dagen will replace former UCLA assistant coaches Kyle and Autumn Grable.

UCLA women's basketball forward Gabriela Jacquez was selected to represent the Mexican national team at the 2024 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournament. It will qualify 16 teams for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026.
