The second week of the College Football Playoff Rankings are about to look a lot different than the first with both Alabama and Penn State falling from the ranks of the unbeaten. Clemson is set to join LSU and Ohio State in the top four, but the real questions are how far Alabama falls and which team takes the final spot? There are now six one-loss teams ranked in the AP Top 10, but SI’s Amy Campbell says the most compelling case is comparing SEC stalwarts Alabama and Georgia. While Alabama’s loss to LSU is more respectable than Georgia’s loss to unranked South Carolina, the Crimson Tide probably won’t get the chance to play for the SEC Championship.
