Redskins Fans Weren't Psyched to Receive the Team's Subway Coupon Last Night
The Redskins came out flat in their season opener versus the division-rival Eagles last night, but rebounded in the second half to make it a bit of a game, scoring two touchdowns to cut the deficit to 33-20. Almost exactly at the point at which it became nearly certain that they were going to lose, however, the Redskins Twitter account delivered some good news:
Surely, fans of the team would find solace in their ability to receive a free six-inch sub with the purchase of a 30 oz. drink and a bag of chips, right?
Guess not. On the bright side, at least the team isn’t receiving death threats for a tone-deaf 9/11 promotion.
