Welcome To The Bobby Rainey Era, Browns Fans
Trent Richardson :: Diamond Images
We had a very rare in-season NFL trade in which a legit player was dealt last night with the Browns shipping Trent Richardson to the Colts. As you would expect, the beat up Cleveland faithful were not exactly on board with the move. You can feel the fans' pain in this clip from a local newscast. As for Richardson, he found out he was on his way to Indianapolis via a friend and then got confirmation from listening to the radio. Clearly, Richardson needs to start using the best news source around -- Twitter.
Bait And Switch
On a WWE pay-per-view event Sunday night, Daniel Bryan beat Randy Orton for the WWE title. The next day, on Monday Night Raw, the script called for Bryan to be stripped of the title over some "technicality." This did not sit well with a couple of fans who spent money on the pay-per-view, so they called their cable company and demanded a refund. Somehow, the cable company obliged.
UPDATE: The WWE has sent us the following statement:
“While certain fans may not have liked the continuing storyline following Night of Champions, we’re certain that the 3-hour pay-per-view event delivered all the entertainment and excitement expected from WWE.”
