New Technology Will Allow Paraplegic Brazilian to Make Opening Kick at the World Cup

From a monkey on a treadmill to the opening ceremony at this year's FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the technology of the "Walk Again Project" has made an amazing journey. The video above details how an exoskeleton suit will hopefully allow a young paraplegic Brazilian to "walk and shoot the opening kick of the World Cup."

The founders of the project hope this technology will "make wheelchairs obsolete," a potential innovation undeniably worthy of this world stage.
