High School Basketball Player Hits 80-Foot Shot in State Quarterfinals

Thursday March 13th, 2014

With time running out at the end of the first half of Central Clinton High School's state quarterfinal game against MOC-Floyd Valley, Clinton's Logan Sheppard pulls down a rebound and lets a near full-court shot fly, hitting the backboard and bringing his team to within one point.

Central Clinton went on to win the game by only two points, so in addition to being extremely fun to watch, Sheppard's shot helped the Sabers stay alive for the state title.
