Manchester United's Anderson Meets Pope, Breaks Papal Law in the Process

Anderson of Manchester United seems to put himself in not-so-flattering situations on a consistent basis, though things have been relatively quiet for the midfielder in recent months.

Or maybe I should say -- things were pretty quiet.

Currently on loan with Fiorentina, Anderson and his teammates were invited to the Vatican to be blessed by the Pope, which is customary for the participants in the Coppa Italia final.

Also customary is refraining from taking photos of the Pope inside the Vatican, a practice which is against papal law. Apparently Anderson didn't get the message, posting the above photo to his Instagram account.
