The annual Met Gala may be fashion's biggest night, but some big sports names were there walking the world's chicest red carpet. This year's dress theme for men was "White Tie and Accessories," but each of the athletes attending managed to put a spin on the generally ultra-formal white tie look.

Knicks fans everywhere are hoping that the cane Amar'e Stoudemire was sporting was just an accessory for his custom-made Lanvin tuxedo, and not a necessity for his always precarious knees.
