Richard Sherman and Cam Newton are the Finalists to Get the Madden Curse, Sorry

It’s down to Richard Sherman of the Seahawks and Cam Newton of the Panthers in the battle for the cover of Madden 15. Of course this is terrible news for fans of both teams, who are on the brink of a very disappointing season if their best player appears on the cover of Madden. It's pretty much science.

Voting ends Friday, with the winner (?) being announced 6pm ET on SportsCenter. So if you care about this sort of thing, you have five days to cast your vote over at ESPN.

While Sherman is being considered for the first time, Newton is no stranger to the Madden cover tournament. He finished in second to Calvin Johnson two years ago.
