Last week we administered a quiz on Minor League Baseball team names. We have a deep appreciation for the small-town culture that occasionally adds into bizarre nicknames, and apparently we’re not alone in that obsession. The Farm Team Apparel Company specializes in the stranger corners of America’s cultural tapestry by making shirts themed after entirely made-up local sports teams.

Maybe you’re a fan of the Rockford Rat Kings?

Or the Kansas City Croutons?

What about the Cheektowaga Thunderweasels?

All of these designs are printed on cozy American Apparel cotton, and the mascots are all given some great fan-fiction historical context, but what really makes Farm Team Apparel cool is that for every shirt they sell, they donate custom-made shirts to a youth sports program. So by wearing your Portland Laserbacks shirt, you’re helping teams around the country get something they can by proud to wear.
