Brazil fans burn Neymar jersey, flags following team's stunning loss
The epic outpouring of emotion from Brazilians when Neymar fractured a vertebrae showed its dark side after the team 7-1 loss to Germany on Tuesday, when there were reports of people burning the injured strikers jersey along with the nations flag in the streets.
Thousands of fans showed up wearing masks of Neymar's face, but when the match quickly slipped away from the home side, a few fans blamed the star's absence.
While certainly not all Brazil fans blame Neymar for the heartbreaking semi-final loss, it is still a stark contrast from the "We are all Neymar" campaign of just a few days earlier.
