A's pitcher Sonny Gray walks around New York asking strangers questions

Thursday July 17th, 2014

Oakland Athletics starter Sonny Gray knew exactly what he wanted to do when his team came to play in New York City, bother people roaming the streets.

Gray put in an earpiece with comedian Harrison Greenbaum on the other end and walked around the city messing with New Yorkers, doing things like asking them to walk him to Times Square with him, and challenging people to break dance battles.

The 24-year old righty tops the whole thing off by singing some Taylor Swift at the request of teammate Brandon Moss, which makes it seem like the prank may have been on Gray all along.
