Baltimore restaurant offering free pizza in exchange for Ray Rice jerseys

Tuesday September 9th, 2014

Baltimore Ravens fans looking to unload their now unwearable Ray Rice jerseys may want to wait before going the traditional light-them-on-fire route, as a restaurant is offering free pizza in exchange for the jerseys.

Hersh's Pizza and Drinks will also give $2.70 to a charity called House of Ruth Maryland, which provides shelter for victims of domestic abuse. Hersh's has inspired its neighbors at the No Idea Tavern to offer $10 in free drinks in addition to a donation.

The Ravens have announced that fans can bring their Rice jerseys to team stores to exchange them, but have not announced any details, so the smart move for those in Baltimore is definitely to grab the free pizza and give to a worthy cause.
