R.I.P. - Eli the Ape
Eli, the clairvoyant ape who correctly predicted the winning team in each of the past seven Super Bowls, died yesterday at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. He was 24. Eli is survived by his offspring Acara, 9, with whom he lived and was “a gentle father,” the zoo said.
Since It's Fashion Week
A few fashion-related items from the world of sports: Terrell Suggs had a custom t-shirt made of Mike Tomlin's sideline interference play from last year's Ravens-Steelers game ... The Mr. Peanut suit used at Yankee Stadium to help launch the “REGGIE” candy bar in 1978 is currently on eBay with a high bid of $13,750 ... Traveling in Style
Nike teamed up with Seattle design firm Teague to create an airplane cabin engineered for sports team. In other words, it took the space normally designated for 200 passengers and redesigned it for a group as small as a 13-person basketball team. To say it is unbelievable would be an understatement.

You're part of a new wave of internet celebrities. how many social media posts do you put out a day? Which form (Twitter/Instagram/Facebook/etc) do you like the most?
Haha. Oh God, social media! I have such a love hate relationship with it. I like it because that's how I got put on the map, being featured on men's websites like SI.com, Barstool, etc, and gaining a lot of their followers, but I also hope to have a career one day that's not just social-media driven. I put out 2-3 posts a day usually (picture type) not always of me, sometimes of funny memes, cool pics of a view I'm looking at, etc. I just like to share a lot of the cool everyday images I encounter through my daily life. Instagram is definitely my favorite. As a model, your fan base and career is based on your image, and Instagram is all about pictures, so that's definitely No. 1 for me.
Do you get many guys hitting on you on Twitter/Facebook/etc?
Hmmm guys hitting on me? Well, a few years ago I'd define "hitting on me" different than today. Now when I put up pictures, I expect to get a lot of comments on them, mostly males. I don't really consider that hitting on me though, more like just nice fans/followers complimenting me. When I'm out for a walk or at a restaurant , and a guy comes up to me in person and begins flirting , that's hitting on me. That happens a few times a day I guess, depending on how much I leave my apartment.
Are you single?
No I am not single. I am happily unavailable and have a really great boyfriend
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Celebrity crush hmm probably Tom Hardy. That accent does it.
Describe a typical day in the life of Abigail Ratchford.
Well my typical day usually starts around 10 a.m. I workout with my trainer Ralph, make breakfast, go through my emails and schedule for the day. Then I run some errands, which usually are to get ready for my shoots that week (since I'll have 1-2 usually during the course of 10 days), and go to the beach or swimming at my apartment. At night, I'll hang with my boyfriend or do something low key. I have a pretty easy day usually.
The NFL season is here. Do you have a Super Bowl prediction?
Hmmmm. I predict that the Eagles will win! :)
