One Northwestern football player had an internship with the Secret Service

Northwestern football player Mark Szott had the coolest internship this summer... with the Secret Service!

CBS 2 in Chicago talked to Szott and got all the details. Well, some of the details. Because it's the "Secret" Service, Szott couldn't go into too much depth.

What Szott could say is that he helped out when Hillary Clinton came to town, as well as when First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters visited.

Szott said he realized the similarities between football and Secret Service work (preparing all week for relatively brief event), make him want to pursue it as a career after he's done playing.

A 6-foot-4, 220-pound Division I athlete is probably a good choice to protect the president.
