No one wants to buy Astros reliever Matt Albers' pants

Do you want to wear a pair of game used pants from a major league pitcher? Do you have a 38-inch waist and 30-inch inseam?

Good news: such a pair of pants is for sale on Ebay.

Bad news: those pants belong to Astros reliever Matt Albers. Maybe that explains why no one has bid on them in the four days they've been up for auction.

The description of the pants says they were purchased from the Astros' Appalachian League affiliate, meaning they're from Albers' first season in pro ball, way back in 2002.

With a starting bid of $25, they're a real bargain. And Albers only pitched 10 innings this season before being shut down with an injury. Seeing someone buy his pants would probably lift his spirits.
