Wednesday night's back and forth battle in the first game of the postseason caused a headache for beat writers trying to get their game stories finished on deadline, as evidenced by MLB.com publishing a story about the Kansas City Royals failed rally attempt despite the team's 9-8 victory.

The website quickly published the proper version of the story, in which the team rallies in the 12th inning to win its first playoff game in 24 years, but not before someone grabbed a screenshot of the erroneous article.
