Texas Tech's Lil Jon-themed giveaway involves 10,000 waffles
Texas Tech football is an underwhelming 2-3, despite having the most attractive coach in the NCAA. Saturday's game against West Virginia starts at 11 a.m. local time, and since the only thing harder than getting a college kid out of bed before noon on a Saturday is getting a college kid out of bed before noon on a Saturday to watch a sub-.500 football team, the school is giving away 10,000 waffles to students in a Lil Jon-themed promotion.

No, seriously, it's called "#TurnDownForWaffles."

Tech didn't even have the decency to dub "waffles" in place of "what."
On the one hand, "Turn Down For What" has probably outworn its welcome, but on the other hand, there's free food. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that the game is sold-out.
