Bears' Martellus Bennett is offering autographs in exchange for books

Monday October 13th, 2014

Chicago Bears tight end has come up with a clever way to interact with fans and build his home library at the same time with "Marty's Book Club," which offers fans autographed pictures of Bennett if they send him a copy of their favorite book.

The eclectic tight end has invited fans to be a part of the book exchange on his Instagram, asking them to include a note about how the book has affected their lives.

Book for an autograph. Sounds like a great deal. Send me your favorite book, write a little note of why it's your favorite book inside of it, send a stamped envelope with your address and I'll send back an autographed photo. Become part of my home library.

Bennett is an aspiring author himself, telling the Chicago Sun-Times that he is working on a children's book called The Wanna-Bees.

When he isn't reading, the TE has caught 36 passes with four touchdowns for Chicago this season.
