D-III quarterback hurdles defender for amazing touchdown run

Monday October 13th, 2014

Morrisville State quarterback Lemar Johnson made an unbelievable play to give his team the lead in its game against Kean University on Saturday.

The reigning NJAC offensive player of the year scrambled for the first down early in the fourth quarter, but instead of giving himself up with a defender closing in, Johnson went vertical and leapt over the opposition before stumbling into the end zone.

Morrisville's celebration did not last long though, as Kean returned the following kickoff 100 yards to tie the game, before Morrisville State put its opponents away with a touchdown in the final minute for a 37-31 win.
