Cubs prospect Kris Bryant has 'Wrigley Ivy' shoes

Chicago Cubs prospect Kris Bryant is definitely on the fast track to endearing himself to Cubs fans. Why? Well, as Spike Lee once said, "It's gotta be the shoes."

On Wednesday, Bryant tweeted a photo of his new pair of adidas cleats -- with an ivy pattern covering the shoes.

Those are going to be awesome to see in front of the ivy at Wrigley Field, whenever Bryant is ready to take the field for the Cubs. And also whenever the ivy comes back to Wrigley Field, which is in the midst of significant renovations that will rebuild the outfield bleachers and allow room for bullpens beneath them.

Bryant was drafted by the Cubs in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft, and with new manager Joe Maddon always showing a penchant for getting young talent onto the field, we could be seeing these shoes on Opening Day in 2015.
