Ravens rookie was late for meeting because he was marveling at snow

Ravens rookie defensive lineman Timmy Jernigan spent his entire life in Florida until he was drafted by Baltimore. He was born and raised in Lake City and went to college at Florida State. So when Maryland was hit with a snowstorm on Wednesday, Jernigan went out after practice to see what all the fuss was about.

According to the Baltimore Sun, a team employee showed Jernigan how to make a snow man. He wasn't able to finish, though, because someone came out to tell him his 4:00 meeting had been moved up to 3:30. It was 3:35. He was late because he was making a snowman.

Hopefully Coach Harbaugh will understand.
