Nick Saban ate gator for the first time

Nick Saban took a brief break from preparing for the College Football Playoffs to hit the recruiting trail, sitting down for dinner Wednesday with five-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson of Glen St. Mary, Fla.
Somehow Saban had made it through life without eating any alligator, and Jefferson set out to change that, getting the Crimson Tide coach to try the delicacy for the first time.

Jefferson says that the four-time national champion loved the exotic meat, although it is unlikely Saban would jeopardize pulling in another five-star recruit by not finishing his dinner.
