Clemson's defensive coordinator needs help staying off the field

Tuesday December 30th, 2014

Monday night's Russell Athletic Bowl got out of hand fairly quickly with Clemson leading Oklahoma 27-0 at halftime. Luckily for viewers, despite the lack of drama on the field, there was some high comedy on the Clemson sideline.

It seems Tigers defensive coordinator Brent Venables has a tough time keeping himself from joining the on-field action, so the team has dedicated assistant strength and training coach Adam Smotherman to reining the coach in when he strays from the sideline.

This results in the comedy gold that is a grown man repeatedly losing his mind and then being restrained by a much larger man.
