Fan hits half-court shot but doesn't win $25K tractor

Thursday January 8th, 2015

This Idaho Stampede fan thought he had won a $25,000 tractor during a halftime shooting contest, but it turns out he ran out of time.

If he hit a layup, a free throw, a three-pointer and half-court shot in 30 seconds, he would have won a fancy new tractor. He made all the shots but it took longer than 30 seconds.

The arena didn't turn on the clock above the backboard or the buzzer during the contest, so the fan had no idea he ran out of time. If you look closely, there's a clock in the corner of the court that hits zero right as the fan gets to midcourt.

He'll have to make do with his old tractor.
