Dallas Stars' Tyler Seguin remains loyal to Tom Brady and the Patriots

Dallas Stars F Tyler Seguin remains supportive of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Despite a contentious exit from Boston two years ago, current Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin still considers himself a fan of the Patriots. According to USAToday, during Friday's All-Star media day ahead of the NHL's All-Star Weekend, Seguin broke from the topic at hand to describe his feelings about New England.

According to Seguin, Patriots fans were not pleased that the league was taking aim at the team.

"I'm a Patriots fan, too," Seguin eagerly told reporters. "So, when I saw all that, I wasn't that happy that they [the NFL] were trying to find something [on] them."

Seguin was drafted by the Boston Bruins in 2010 with picks traded for with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Bruins traded Seguin to Dallas in summer 2013, amid reports the then 21-year-old was becoming distracted by his social life.

Seguin also affirmed his support for Tom Brady, praising the quarterback's composure.

"I was enjoying Tom Brady's press conference," Seguin said with a smile. "I thought he did a really good job. He handled it really well."

No doubt Brady will appreciate the support, especially from Seguin, who in the past has courted controversy himself.
