Auburn may add 200-foot scoreboard to Jordan-Hare Stadium

The Auburn Board of Trustees will vote on Friday on adding a 200-foot wide scoreboard to the school's Jordan-Hare Stadium, which would be the largest in all of college football.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports that the proposal does not contain exact dimensions for the new video board but it is expected to be larger in square footage than the screen in Texas A&M's Kyle Field which was unveiled just last year.

The school would pay just under $14 million for the project, a drop in the bucket compared to the $100 million stadium upgrades the schools is considering for the stadium in order to relocate the current locker rooms and additional luxury seating in the fields north end.
