Washington CB Bashaud Breeland has a 'Breeland Island' bumper sticker

They say no man is an island, but anything is possible if you work hard and believe in yourself.

An especially productive harvest season produces a bumper crop, and for Washington Redskins cornerback Bashaud Breeland, a bumper is now where the benefits of a successful season are most evident.

Breeland helped contain Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and secure a Washington win during the two teams' Oct. 27 match up. Breeland's performance brought him the attention of Washington's enthusiastic fans, and, with it, a brand new nickname.

"Breeland Island," Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant proclaimed after Washington's victory. Durant's exclamation was quickly retweeted by Pierre Garçon, Breeland's teammate.

Breeland, apparently, has embraced the new moniker.

Breeland collected 62 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles last season, so the nickname is not inapt, even if Breeland had a few rookie missteps during the year.

Now all Breeland has to do is make sure he can keep that island to himself.
