Apple unveiled its newest creation, the Apple Watch, on Monday and while lots of people would like the tech giant's latest gadget, its high price point has made many people scoff.

Dodgers pitchers Brandon McCarthy and Brett Anderson are hoping they can avoid the hefty price tag by convincing Clayton Kershaw to use some of his $215 million contract on his teammates.

• Red Sox 1998 spring training program has an odd cover
While it doesn't look like Kershaw will be splurging on the wearable technology for his staff mates, perhaps Anderson and McCarthy can save up and grab one of the $349 Sport variation instead of the $17,000 high end Edition.
