Michigan State students celebrate Final Four by throwing bagels

Michigan State earned its first trip to the Final Four since 2010 on Sunday by defeating Louisville, promptly sparking a celebration in East Lansing.
The celebrations spurred some usual sights after sports wins, such as burning couches, but then something weird happened: Everyone threw bagels.

The bagel-tossing got so big it was dubbed the Bagel Riot of 2015 on Twitter.
The whole thing caused great confusion among Michigan State police and even the lieutenant governor.
Guys, what's with the bagels?

AJ Moser of The State News reports that some students were even arrested for throwing bagels.
One can only imagine what will happen if the Spartans win the national title.
